Summer’s here at Scunthorpe
SCUNTHORPE SPEEDWAY’S seventh Summer Championship got underway at the Eddie Wright Raceway on Saturday afternoon with close to fifty riders taking part in 88 races in around five and a half hours.
In the Open Class, it was Krystian Bialecki from Scarborough who claimed his first victory, whilst Adam Extance – top scorer from the heats – fell whilst chasing in second.
Other class winners were Layne Cupitt (Support), Robert Parker (Novice), Harry Jones (Youth 500), William O’Keefe (Youth 250), Jamie Halder (Youth 125), Jacob Fellows (Juniors), Gary Krelle (Adult Pit Bikes) and Tim Greig (Flat Track).
