WINTER SERIES RESERVATIONS
For those that are likely to race in all of the Winter Series meetings (speedway or flat track classes) we are trialling an option that will ensure a regular rider doesn’t miss out should a meeting become full (let’s face it we’ve just had a record entry, we can’t run as many races during the winter and numbers did increase quite a bit last winter) and it will also save you messaging Richard every time to book in. It is entirely optional and those who are on the ball, after the previous meeting, when booking in won’t have a problem but, effectively, if someone pays one of their meeting entry fees early they can have a guaranteed start in all meetings.
The money will be used as your entry fee for the last round of the series but is our guarantee against you not coming to one of the rounds and not informing us (which is the problem with the ‘book me in for the full series’ type comments because our experience is only about 25% of those people actually do ride in every round and we end up double-checking every time when the onus should be on the rider). Riders are more than welcome to pull out up to 24 hours before the meeting (possibly a few hours after that but we wouldn’t want meetings to become full and then have a raft of people pull out last thing) but any rider who doesn’t tell us they aren’t coming will forfeit the money earmarked for the last round.
