FluidAir Power Ltd to stand down as main team sponsors

SCUNTHORPE promoter Rob Godfrey has revealed that FluidAir Power Ltd, the main team sponsors of the Scorpions in 2014 and 2015, will revert to being associate sponsors in 2016.

Godfrey said: “FluidAir Power Ltd have always been good supporters of Scunthorpe Speedway. They were associate sponsors long before they decided to become main team sponsors.

“I thank them for that, and I appreciate their continuing support – it’s all invaluable in running both the speedway and maintaining and improving the stadium.

“I’m sure they gained good exposure from being Scorpions’ team sponsor for a couple of years, and I urge all supporters to get behind the companies that support us, including FluidAir.

“It’s not goodbye, as FluidAir remain on board as associate sponsors, something we are very happy about. We’ve already enjoyed a long, successful relationship with them and I hope that will continue for many more years.”

Godfrey is hopeful of revealing the main team sponsor for the 2016 Scorpions within the next few weeks.
