Scunthorpe v Berwick rained off

PLEASE note that tonight’s meeting between Attis Insurance Scunthorpe Scorpions and Berwick Bandits at the Eddie Wright Raceway bas been postponed, due to both rain earlier in the week plus more rain forecast later today.

The meeting will be re-staged on Friday, September 8th at 7.30pm.

Scunthorpe promoter Rob Godfrey explained: “The track has already taken a battering from the rain earlier in the week, plus there’s further showers predicted for later today.  We didn’t want to anyone to have a wasted journey tonight.

“We thank Berwick for their co-operation in promptly agreeing a re-staging date.

“Next week, the weather is due to turn and we look forward to sunshine for our clash with reigning champions Poole Pirates at the Eddie Wright Raceway next Friday.”
