Scunthorpe v Redcar rained off

PLEASE NOTE tonight’s Scunthorpe vs Redcar Knockout Cup Semi-Final meeting at Scunthorpe’s Eddie Wright Raceway has been postponed due to a poor forecast.

Scunthorpe promoter Rob Godfrey said: “It is with regret that we’ve called off tonight’s Knockout Cup Semi Final clash against Redcar.

“We waited until today to see if the forecast would improve, but it has not. There is no chance of getting on a speedway meeting tonight, so we’ve made the early decision to save everyone a wasted journey.

“Tomorrow’s meeting at Redcar now becomes the first leg, and we will let everyone know as soon as a re-staging date has been agreed for the Scunthorpe leg at the Eddie Wright Raceway.”
