Scunthorpe v Birmingham rained off

Apologies for the lateness in the day for tonight’s rain off.

Despite heavy showers in the morning, the track dried very quickly and, by 4pm, we were having to water the tack.

The forecast was supposed to be clear after 6pm, until 5.30pm when it changed, and then a heavy thunderstorm arrived at 6.30pm.

Unless the forecast is very bad, in which case we will make an early decision,  we will always make every attempt to stage the meeting.
