Kids go free at the EWR on Bank Holiday Friday

TO join in with the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, Attis Insurance Scunthorpe Scorpions have offered free admission to all children aged 17 and under, for their home clash at the Eddie Wright Raceway with Redcar Bears on Bank Holiday Friday (5pm).

Scunthorpe promoter Rob Godfrey said: “With the 5pm start-time, we want to make it a great early evening out for families for our Bank Holiday meeting on Friday.

“We’ve decided to make it free admission for all children aged 17 and under. We will have hook-a-duck and a bouncy castle there as well, so they will be plenty of entertain the kids.

“Scunthorpe and Redcar clashes are always keenly contested and this is a meeting not to be missed.”

ADMISSION PRICES FOR BANK HOLIDAY FRIDAY:
Adult: £18.00
Student/OAP: £16.00
Child (0 – 17): Free (accompanied by paying adult)
Match Programme: £1.00

Tickets can be obtained in advance online, or they can be purchased (cash only) on the day at the turnstiles. Please ignore the online option to buy tickets for £5 for kids aged 10-17 for this particular meeting – they will not need a ticket.

There is a 3% handling fee for online sales – please note this handing fee goes to the ticketing provider, not the club.

NOTE REGARDING TICKETS: Please bring your ticket with you – either a physical copy or on your phone. The QR code (the matrix barcode) will be scanned to allow you entry to the stadium – please present to the staff at the entry point at the Eddie Wright Raceway.
