ATTIS INSURANCE Scunthorpe Scorpions are looking to recover quickly from last Friday’s home defeat to Plymouth, when they travel to Birmingham tomorrow (Wednesday).

The issue of the May Green Sheet Averages sees Zaine Kennedy move to No 2 and skipper Simon Lambert drop to the reserve berth at No 7.

Scunthorpe promoter Rob Godfrey said: “After losing at home to Plymouth last Friday, we could do with picking up some points from Birmingham.

“Brummies have had a tough start to the season, but they are always good value around their own track. We have a job to do and we will stick to our task and hopefully it will bring the reward that we are seeking.”

For those unable to travel to Perry Barr, the meeting is being shown on the British Speedway Network at: https://watch.britishspeedway.co.uk

For those without either a season or monthly pass, the live stream of Birmingham v Scunthorpe can be obtained for £11.99.

Expected teams for tomorrow (Wednesday):

Birmingham Brummies: 1. Claus Vissing, 2. Stefan Nielsen, 3. Kyle Howarth (guest), 4. Ashley Morris, 5. Adam Ellis, 6. James Shanes, 7. James Pearson.

Attis Insurance Scunthorpe Scorpions: 1. Ryan Douglas, 2. Zaine Kennedy, 3. Jordan Palin, 4. Tero Aarnio, 5. Jake Allen (pictured), 6. Ryan Kinsley, 7. Simon Lambert (captain).
