Leicester v Scunthorpe now on Tuesday

ATTIS INSURANCE Scunthorpe Scorpions’ final fixture of the season, away to Leicester in the second leg of their Championship Play-Off quarter-final, will now take place on Tuesday (October 12th) at 7.30pm.

Last night’s (Saturday) staging was postponed, after the ambulance broke down en route to the stadium. The decision to call off the meeting was eventually taken at 8pm, an hour after the scheduled start time.

Leicester Speedway have issued an apology and said that tickets from last night will be valid for the re-staging. We did spot a few Scunthorpe fans in attendance and if you’re unable to get back to Leicester this season, please contact Leicester Speedway and we’re sure they will sort it out for you.
