Edinburgh finish JUST ahead of Scorpions on race points difference after Richie Worrall wins Heat 15 for Monarchs. Birmingham still need an unlikely 8 points from their final 3 meetings to overhaul us – their next meeting is at Newcastle on Sunday while they host Diamonds next Wednesday. Even if Birmingham do the double over Newcastle, they face an ultra-hard final meeting at Glasgow a week on Friday and will need at least a point from this meeting.
