Play-off picture update – Saturday, Sept 11th

IT’S still looking very healthy for Attis Insurance Scunthorpe Scorpions, in terms of qualifying for the Championship play-offs after tonight’s two meetings:

LEICESTER 47 EDINBURGH 43
Confirms that Leicester will finish above Scorpions. Edinburgh now need further 3 points from 2 away meetings to go ahead of us. Monarchs at Newcastle tomorrow and at Birmingham on Wednesday.

BERWICK 41 GLASGOW 49
Glasgow now favourites to join Poole in top two. Scorpions, who currently seem set to finish 5th or 6th, therefore probably set for clash against Redcar or Leicester in play-off 1st round, but could all change!
