WE are saddened to learn of the death of our former rider Rod Haynes.
Winterton-based Rod rode for us in our inaugural open licence season at Quibell Park in 1971 and went onto make 53 league and cup appearances for the Saints in 1972-73.
Our thoughts are with Rod’s family.
