To begin with, we have a heat-by-heat look at Scunthorpe v Edinburgh in a thrilling cup clash.

HEAT 1: Ricky Wells ahead of Josh and Stefan.

HEAT 2: Big 5-1 for the Scorpions’ reserves.

HEAT 3: Jason Garrity takes control of the race, only to be denied by an engine failure on the final lap.

HEAT 4: Josh Bailey and Jake Allen packing the minor placings.

HEAT 5: “Put it there, partner!”. Jason Garrity and Danny Ayres celebrate a 5-1.

HEAT 6: Josh Auty in hot pursuit in Cameron Heeps, having already moved from fourth to second. Josh got his man and won the race.

HEAT 7: Jake Allen stretching out his lead up front.

HEAT 8: Stefan Nielsen winning this race for the fourth successive meeting.

HEAT 9: Jason and Danny in second and third places. Jason was involved in a good battle with Cameron Heeps for the race lead, but eventually had to settle for second.

HEAT 10: Stefan is the early leader, while Josh soon came through to join him for a 5-1.

HEAT 11: Jake Allen steals the victory off Ricky Wells, as he pounces on the inside on the final bend.

HEAT 12: Jason in pursuit of Josh Pickering. Jason passed William Lawson late in the race to avoid a 5-1 to Monarchs.

HEAT 13: Josh Auty leading, after his burst from last to first on the opening lap. Jake challenging Ricky Wells, while Cameron Heeps is out of shot. The Monarchs eventually came second and third in the race.

HEAT 14: Joel Andersson leads Danny Ayres, as Monarchs hit back with a 5-1, despite a fine effort by Danny and Ryan on the final lap, which temporarily took them past William Lawson.

HEAT 15: Having overtaken both Monarchs on the opening lap, Josh looks back to see what’s happening behind him.
