Connor makes three!

The Scorpions are delighted to announce their third signing and the return of club favourite Connor Mountain.

Mountain has become a solid and vital cog for the team, and team manager David Howe is happy to have him return.

“I spoke to Connor at the end of the season, and we were both in agreement about where we wanted the club to go. Like myself, he wanted a number one who could fight in the big heats, and when I said where we were looking, he was happy to be part of it.

With the way we are building the team, I wanted someone solid and who I can depend on to strengthen the middle order, and Connor is perfect for that. Until the wheels came off the season, Connor, at times, was the shining star of the team, and with the right riders around him, I can see a big year for him. He has really made that number four jacket his own, and it’s so good as a manager to see him go out in heat 14, knowing there’s a good chance he will win it.

He also adds a lot of professionalism to the team, and I hope riders like Ryan can look up to him and learn how to approach their racing.”
