Coming on Sunday… Double-Header Action!

WE HAVE a packed late afternoon of speedway for you all at the Eddie Wright Raceway this Sunday (July 22) at 5pm.

Firstly, the Henderson Insurance Scunthorpe Scorpions take on the Glasgow Tigers, with vital league points up for grabs in a must-win fixture for Scorpions.

It is Scunthorpe No 1 Steve Worrall’s first home meeting since returning from a broken leg, while Grand Prix star Craig Cook is set to make his debut for Glasgow.

Secondly, there is British Youth Championship action, with the 500cc and 250cc classes in action.

The start-time of 5pm is designed to fit in with fans from both Scunthorpe and Glasgow travelling back from the British Grand Prix at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium the previous day.
