Two in two days for Scorpions
IT’S a vital weekend for Henderson Insurance Scunthorpe Scorpions, with the team involved in two away fixtures in the Championship in the space of 24 hours, as they look to boost their chances of reaching the top four.
Scorpions travel to Peterborough tonight (Friday), before making their way up to Berwick tomorrow (Saturday).
Skipper and No 1 Steve Worrall makes his long-awaited return for Scorpions, after sustained a broken leg in the opening meeting of the season at the Eddie Wright Raceway on April 6.
Also returning is Danny Phillips (pictured), who returns from concussion and a rib injury.
Jason Garrity and Stefan Nielsen are still out injured. Scorpions will utilise rider replacement for Nielsen, while the guests for Garrity are Aaron Summers at Peterborough and Nico Covatti at Berwick.
