Henderson Insurance return as main team sponsors

HENDERSON Insurance Broking Group will again be main team sponsors of the Scunthorpe Scorpions in 2017.

Henderson Insurance first sponsored the Scunthorpe Scorpions in 2007, when the club was operating in the Conference League.

They became title sponsors when the North Lincolnshire side joined the Premier League in 2008. The ‘Henderson Insurance Scunthorpe Scorpions’ memorably won the Premier League championship in 2012.

Scunthorpe promoter Rob Godfrey says: “This is the eleventh successive season that Henderson Insurance will sponsor Scunthorpe Speedway, and I’m absolutely delighted that we will again be known as the ‘Henderson Insurance Scunthorpe Scorpions’ in 2017.

“Their support to this club has been absolutely invaluable – I don’t know where we’d be without them.

“Over the years, Henderson Insurance have put a significant amount of money into our club. They’ve also made a contribution towards our new clubhouse.

“As well as saying thank you to Henderson Insurance as a company, I want to say a personal thank you to Joe Henderson. He’s been such a big supporter of our club.

“I’m happy for Scunthorpe Speedway to be associated with such a successful company.”
