Josh Bailey breaks collarbone
IT’S BEEN confirmed that Henderson Insurance Scunthorpe Scorpions’ 18-year-old reserve Josh Bailey suffered a broken collarbone during the Scunthorpe vs Workington Premier League meeting at the Eddie Wright Raceway yesterday evening (Sunday).
Josh suffered the injury in Heat 4, after catching the back of Matt Williamson’s bike.
After a trip to the hospital this morning (Monday), Josh revealed via Twitter: “Unfortunately, I broke my collarbone in my crash at Scunny last night.
“I have to go back to the fracture clinic Wednesday to get a time scale.”
Everyone at the club wishes Josh a speedy recovery.
* HENDERSON INSURANCE Scunthorpe Scorpions will need to book a guest for Josh Bailey for both the visit to Sheffield on Thursday, plus the big Bank Holiday Monday clash against the Newcastle Diamonds at the Eddie Wright Raceway (start-time 3pm).
