Letter from Plymouth fans

The following email was sent to Gail Godfrey, co-promoter of Scunthorpe Speedway, following last week’s Scunthorpe vs Plymouth meeting.

Ms Godfrey, on behalf of The Devils on Tour fans I would like to show our appreciation of the following when we attended Scunthorpe Speedway on Sunday.
1) well run very slick meeting.
2) The welcome we received from your man on the microphone, including his interview of some of us.
3) A very special mention to the Scorpion fans on bend one who made us completely welcome with their friendliness all evening.
4) Some excellent racing due to the commitment of both teams.
5) Lastly but not least we were all impressed with your young Josh Bailey, he definitely needs to be looked after and I wish him all the best for his future.
We are looking forward to the return match at Plymouth.
