Ryan Douglas is addition to Ben Fund Bonanza

HENDERSON INSURANCE Scunthorpe Scorpions’ Australian star Ryan Douglas is a late addition to the first speedway meeting of the 2016 season – the Ben Fund Bonanza at King’s Lynn tonight (Saturday, 6pm).

There are now three Scorpions in the line-up, as Ryan joins Josh Auty and Nicolai Klindt in the 20-strong field, with the meeting raising money for the best possible cause – the Speedway Riders’ Benevolent Fund.

A reminder that press & practice takes place at the Eddie Wright Raceway tomorrow (Sunday, 4pm), before the Scorpions are in action for the first time in 2016 at Ipswich on Thursday.

The grand opening meeting of the 12th season of speedway at the Eddie Wright Raceway takes place next Sunday (March 20th) at 3pm, with Ipswich making the return visit to Scunthorpe.
