HEAVY DEFEAT AT GLASGOW
ELLIE ROSE TRAVEL Scunthorpe Scorpions suffered a heavy away defeat at Glasgow’s Peugeot Ashfield Stadium last night (Saturday), with Glasgow Tigers winning by 62-28.
Scorpions’ only heat advantage was a 4-2 to Jake Allen and Simon Lambert in Heat 4. But Tigers then rattled up four successive 5-1s and moved into a 35-13 lead after eight races.
Scunthorpe’s other heat-winners were Steve Worrall in Heat 11 and Connor Mountain in Heat 14.
Scorpions are next in action with back-to-back meetings next weekend at Edinburgh on Friday (August 8) and Berwick on Saturday (August 9).
