Tony Eaton 1945-2022

TONY (ANTHONY) EATON
November 4, 1945 – February 28, 2022

Tony was an avid motorsport fan and followed from his childhood and Scunthorpe Scorpions were his favourite.

He attended all the venues since following Scunthorpe in the 1970s. He worked at the steelworks and often attended straight from work or before a nightshift.

He often told stories of races he had seen when they were known as Scunthorpe Saints or Scunthorpe Stags to when they reformed as Scorpions in 2005.

He hardly missed any meetings during his years of support and this provided him with much enjoyment over his lifetime.

Tony’s funeral will be held at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe on March 29th at 10.40am. All are welcome to attend.
