HEB return as main title sponsors

HEB WEALTH AND EMPLOYEE BENEFITS will be the main title sponsors of the Scunthorpe Scorpions for a second season in 2020.

The team will again take to the track known as the ‘HEB Scunthorpe Scorpions’.

The new deal means it will be the 14th successive season that the North Lincolnshire club have been sponsored by Joe Henderson – he first backed Scorpions in 2007 though Henderson Insurance.

Scunthorpe promoter Rob Godfrey said: “I’m delighted that we will take to the track known as the HEB Scunthorpe Scorpions for a second year in 2020.

“I don’t know where Scunthorpe Speedway would be without the backing of Joe Henderson over the years. I can’t say enough about him. He’s been a massive supporter of our club.

“We will take every chance to promote the name of HEB in the media at every opportunity – HEB already became synonymous with the club during last season. The HEB Scunthorpe Scorpions does trip off the tongue very nicely.”

HEB are a financial planning company, concentrating on wealth and employee benefits. Their office is based in Leeds.
