Two British Champions to ride in Josh’s testimonial

CLUB LEGEND Josh Auty has announced the first two riders for his testimonial at Scunthorpe’s Eddie Wright Raceway on Sunday, March 22nd (3pm) – former British Champions Chris Harris and Danny King.

Chris ‘Bomber’ Harris is a triple British Champion, but he is perhaps best known for winning the 2007 British Grand Prix at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, after bursting from last to first in brilliant style in the final. He currently rides for Peterborough and Birmingham, while has won a variety of league titles with St. Austell, Exeter, Coventry and Poole.

Danny King won the British Final at Belle Vue’s National Speedway Stadium in 2016, twelve years after winning the British Under-18 championship. In 2020, he will ride for Ipswich in the Premiership and Poole in the Championship.

Josh Auty is Scunthorpe Scorpions’ highest-ever points scorer and the only rider to win three league championships with the club.
