Scott Solway: Cannot believe this sad sad news. What a guy, what a rider, what an entertainer. Danny Ayres was such a great guy with time for everyone. Condolences to his family and friends, thinking of you all at this sad time. The Chequered Flag is waiting to bring you home Danny xx
Keith Richardson: Quite rightly, as fans, we are all devastated by this news and are thinking of Danny’s family. May I add that my own thoughts, and I’m sure many of yours, also go out to Rob Godfrey and the extended family Danny has at Scunthorpe Speedway. Be strong at this awful time.
