INJURY-HIT FluidAir Power Scunthorpe Scorpions, supported by Henderson Insurance, have turned to club assets Michael Palm Toft and Thomas Jorgensen as their guests for this weekend’s away clashes at Workington and Newcastle.

The Scorpions travel to Workington tonight (Saturday, 7pm) looking to pick up Premier League points, and then visit Newcastle tomorrow (Sunday, 6.30pm), where they are defending a 16-point lead in the first round of a Knockout Cup tie.

Scunthorpe promoter Rob Godfrey said: “Michael (Palm Toft) and Thomas (Jorgensen) are still friends of our club. I know they will always give 100% when riding for the Scorpions.
