ALEX SUMMERFIELD captures the action from last night’s dramatic Scunthorpe vs Redcar League Cup clash.

Heat 1: Anders Mellgren & Theo Pijper take a 5-1 over Lasse Bjerre.

Nike Lunna races inside of Ben Morley in Heat 2, prior to a fall for Nike.

Heat 6: Rafal Konopka picks up some drive.  He managed to remain onboard, while the Pijper/Mellgren combined for a second 5-1 of the meeting.

Later in Heat 6: Mellgren leads Matej Kus.

Alex Davies (red), Rafal Konopka (yellow) and Carl Wilkinson (blue) in Heat 9.  The Scorpions’ pair would take a 5-1 from this race.

Ouch!  Rafal Konopka crashes in Heat 12.

Heat 14: Rafal Konopka lifts behind Carl Wilkinson and Nike Lunna, prior to a big accident for Konopka.  Konopka’s bike would clear the air-fence and crash into the catch-fencing.  Thankfully, he walked off.

With Konopka and Lunna both excluded, Wilko cuts inside Matej Kus to win the ‘match race’ in Heat 14.
