Christmas Cracker Amateur Meeting OFF

After much deliberation we are afraid we have decided to call off tomorrow’s meeting. We are due a lot of rain through the night and tomorrow the temperature could be touching freezing. Hardly ideal conditions. In addition, we have a large number of flat track and pit bike entrants and they really don’t like the wet. We have had a number of withdrawals already and I know there would have been more. I’m very sorry but I would hate for others to come and turn round or ride and not enjoy it. I think with that forecast it might become a feat of endurance for everyone involved. Very sorry! It is a bit borderline but it is not fair for people to travel long distances and get value for money. We hope everyone understands and wants to book in for the next meeting (25th January for flat track, pit bikes and youth classes) knowing that if we say meetings are going to run they will run and the track will be in a good state. Of course the 25th is not the scheduled amateur meeting at the Eddie Wright Raceway with four adult classes (open, support, novice and upright) set to race this coming Sunday (4th January) from 11am
