Nicolai’s Grand Prix shot!
FLUIDAIR POWER Scunthorpe Scorpions’ Danish star Nicolai Klindt can join the world’s elite – including Scunthorpe-born World Champion Tai Woffinden – in the 2015 Grand Prix series, by finishing in the top three of the Grand Prix Challenge in Lonigo, Italy tonight (Saturday).
Klindt is one of five Danes, in a strong line-up which contains current Grand Prix riders, Matej Zagar, Chris Harris and Kenneth Bjerre, with a further GP rider, Martin Smolinski, at reserve.
With Zagar set to automatically quality for the 2015 series, a top four placing in Lonigo could be enough, should the Slovenian finish in the top three.
