Danno avoids break

GOOD NEWS regarding Henderson Insurance Scunthorpe Stags’ Danno Verge, who suffered a freak injury down the King’s Lynn pits on Wednesday night, after catching his foot on an uneven piece of concrete.

It was feared Danno had broken his foot, but this hasn’t proven to be the case.

In a tweet, he revealed: “Everything is fine.  Nothing broken just badly bruised and nerve damage .  I will be back racing Monday!”
