Scorpions look for away win

HIGH-FLYING FluidAir Power Scunthorpe Scorpions travel to Plymouth tonight (Friday, 7.15pm) looking for a third successive league win, after last week’s double success over Sheffield and Glasgow.

The Scorpions scored a 46-44 victory at the St Boniface Arena last August, and they will be looking for the same or better tonight.

The Scorpions are currently third in the Premier League table.

* Henderson Insurance Scunthorpe Saints are away at Stoke in National League action on Saturday.

* Bank Holiday Monday sees a double-header at the Eddie Wright Raceway (start-time 3pm). The Scorpions take on Peterborough in the second leg of the KO Cup, needing to beat the Panthers by four points of more to progress to the quarter-finals. Meanwhile, the Saints entertain the Coventry Storm in a National League match.
